Brian Kerwin made his Broadway debut in "The Little Foxes" with Stockard Channing at New York's Lincoln Center. Other stage credits include: "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" directed by Edward Albee and starring Glenda Jackson and John Lithgow, Tina Howe's "One Shoe Off" at the New York Shakespeare Festival, co-starring Mary Beth Hurt, "Glimmer, Glimmer, and Shine" with John Spencer, Terrence McNally's "Lips Together Teeth Apart," and "Emily," for which he won a Theatre World Award.
Among his many feature film credits are "Jack" for director Francis Ford Coppola, "Love Field" with Michelle Pfeiffer, "Hard Promises" with Sissy Spacek, "Murphy's Romance" playing Sally Field's errant husband, and "Torch Song Trilogy" in which he recreated his stage role opposite Harvey Fierstein.
Mr. Kerwin's most recent television credits include
three guest starring roles on "Law and Order," and
"Law and Order: SVU," and an ongoing role on NBC's
acclaimed "West Wing." Aside from his leading role
in Showtimes critically acclaimed series "Beggars
and Choosers," the versatile Mr. Kerwin also was Executive
Producer and starred in their award winning movie,
"Common Ground."
